The lead vocalist and acoustic guitar player for country music band Diamond Rio, Marty Roa led a team that scored 56 in the 1999 Vinny Pro-Celebrity Golf Invitational (the Vinny), a tournament which has raised millions of dollars for junior golf programs in Tennessee.

Mark Roe (born 20 February 1963) is an English golfer. At school he was a highboard diving champion, but he perforated an eardrum and while convalescing he took up golf.

Roe turned professional in 1981 and became a member of the European Tour in 1985. He has won three times on the tour and his best Order of Merit ranking was ninth, which he achieved in 1994. He represented England in the Alfred Dunhill Cup in 1994 and in the World Cup in 1989, 1994 and 1995. He missed a season and a half after an accident in July 1999, when he tore ligaments in the ring finger and little finger of his left hand by grabbing the collar of his springer spaniel, but he returned to the tour in 2001.

He was disqualified from The Open in 2003 whilst in contention after two rounds after a mix-up between his scorecard and Jesper Parnevik’s.

Roe retired from tournament golf in 2006, signing off with a 67 on the Old Course at St Andrews in the final round of the Dunhill Links Championship. He now works as a golf commentator on Sky Sports.
